About Laura Steffins is the creator of Kidlet Chronicles: Baby Days and Toddler Tales, the one who just KNEW there had to be a better way to document her kidlet's life, beginning with the two lines on the home pregnancy test. In her case, she was using a variety of calendars and journals to track all her information. While she was busy switching between them all (as some of them overlapped), she found herself wishing for something that would incorporate ALL of them into one, simple-to-use format, preferably a digital format to avoid the cross-outs, the scribbles, the messy handwriting, the white-out blotches and so forth. From the roots of her 'little idea', she designed a rough framework that would become Baby Days and Toddler Tales. Mel Patrick is the programmer who gave life to Laura's very rough framework and also happens to be her Dear Old Dad. He took the framework, along with Laura's incessant babbling about what she 'saw' it all coming together as, and created something SO MUCH BETTER than either of them had ever imagined. He not only made the whole program look good, he made it highly functional and so easy to use. We hope your family enjoys Baby Days and Toddler Tales as much as we do!
